HAIR CLONING: NOT FOR NOW UNFORTUNATELY!

Often mentioned during consultations with our patients, hair cloning is not currently available. Indeed, we frequently have patients who have a donor area that is too poor or insufficient in relation to their baldness.

Good management of the donor area is essential for a harmonious and lasting result. Hence, hair cloning helps!

THE IDEA IS GOOD, BUT THE TECHNOLOGY IS NOT YET PERFORMING!

Cloning in 3 steps:


  • take a healthy hair that is not subject to androgenetic alopecia (which is the main cause of hair loss)
  • then duplicate it in the laboratory
  • to then obtain thousands of grafts ready to be placed on a balding scalp

SCIENCE IS ADVANCING… BUT THERE IS STILL A WAY TO GO!!

Following the discovery of stem cells in the scalp, dormant follicles or recent global studies (USA, Japan, China) on hair regrowth, we see that several teams are working on the subject. Unfortunately, none has yet succeeded in perfectly recreating a complete, sustainable and economically profitable hair "organ".
